UT Tyler New Student Orientation will be Tuesday, Jan. 8 in the University Center, Ona Tolliver, assistant vice president for student affairs and dean of students, announced.
Orientation is not mandatory, but recommended. It is designed to:
- Inform new students of campus policies and procedures.
- Help with the academic and social transition to UT Tyler.
- Prepare students to make reasoned and well-informed choices.
- Foster a sense of community by acclimating future Patriots to the UT Tyler campus and surrounding community.
