RICHARDSON -- UT Tyler softball pitcher Kelsie Batten has been named the American Southwest Conference East Division Pitcher of the Week. Batten was 2-0 with a save over a four-game week, helping the Patriots clinch the divisional crown.
The freshman pitcher went 2-0 with a save in division play against Louisiana College and East Texas Baptist, striking out 12 batters and not issuing a walk over 17 1/3 innings of work. More...
