UT Tyler Business, Technology Undergraduate Advising Relocated Due to Business Building Renovation
July 21, 2014
UT Tyler College of Business and Technology undergraduate advising has relocated due to the Business Building’s renovation, Dr. James Lumpkin, college dean, announced.
The new home for CBT undergraduate advising is UT Tyler Business Building, room 114. The former space (BUS 131) will be used for new faculty offices within the college.
In addition, administration for the UT Tyler Departments of Management and Marketing and Accounting, Finance and Business Law will be in one central location on the first floor of the Business Building.
“Significant growth of programs in the College of Business and Technology over the past few years has stretched our resources very thin, ” said Dr. Paul Roberts, college associate dean. “This renovation has allowed for the expansion of the undergraduate advising center, and the construction of new faculty offices and departmental suites. This will allow us to more efficiently serve the CBT students.”
All renovations and faculty office moves within the Business Building are expected to be complete in August, and signage will be available for students, Roberts added.
