UT Tyler to Hold 9/11 Anniversary Events

UT Tyler will hold special events in recognition of 9/11, Ona Tolliver, assistant vice president for student affairs and dean of students, announced.
The events, sponsored by the UT Tyler Student Government Association, will begin at 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 11 by the UT Tyler Dub and B.J. Riter Millennium Carillon Tower. Dallas Retired Firefighter Association Honor Guard members will share a presentation with attendees and lead a Firefighter’s Prayer in memory of those who died during 9/11. A question and answer session will follow.
Afterwards, the annual SGA 9/11 Candlelight Vigil will begin at 8 p.m. Rain location will be the University Center theater.
