Dr. Thomas Guderjan was interviewed by the national online talk radio series ‘Voice America,’ based in New York City. Guderjan serves as associate professor of anthropology and social sciences major program coordinator at UT Tyler. He also is president of the Maya Research Program, a nonprofit corporation established in 1992 that sponsors archaeological and ethnographic research in Middle America.

During the series episode, Guderjan explains the worldwide contributions of the Maya Research Program and how the program relates to 21st century archaeology.

From the economy to criminal justice, sociology and anthropology, the UT Tyler Department of Social Sciences contributes significantly to the study of liberal arts at the university.
