The UT Tyler Office of Residence Life and University Pines will hold activities for trick-or-treaters and the UT Tyler community.

Residence life will provide a mini carnival with candy and games 7 – 11 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 30 outside the University Pines Clubhouse.

“We are going to have a Polaroid photo booth, ring toss, cotton candy, cornhole, facepainting and a bottle knockdown booth,” said Ali Cupp, UT Tyler Ornelas Hall residence coordinator. “We are trying to appeal to those residents, students and community members who are not into the haunted house and expect a great turnout for both events.”

University Pines will host a haunted house 7 – 11 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 30 and Friday, Oct. 31 in the clubhouse.

“University Pines is excited to host this year’s haunted house,” said Breana Simmons, University Pines residence life coordinator. “UT Tyler students, faculty and staff are invited and encouraged to bring their children, grandchildren or friends and neighbors. The haunted house is not intended for children under the age of 12.”

Admission to the haunted house is $2 or two canned food items. All collections will be donated to the East Texas Food Bank.

University Pines is a privately managed housing community on the campus of UT Tyler partnering with The University of Texas at Tyler and its student body since 1993.
