UT Tyler Palestine Campus 2013 nursing graduate Todi Auker has been recognized for compassionate care and excellence in nursing by East Texas Medical Center in Jacksonville.

She received the 2015 DAISY Foundation Award, which recognizes nurses who go above and beyond in providing excellent care to their patients every day.

This is the second award given to UT Tyler alumni from the Palestine Campus. Previously, Anna Pickle received the DAISY Award in November 2013 as part of Trinity Mother Frances Hospital and Clinics – Tyler.

“The faculty, staff and students are very proud of our Palestine BSN graduates Todi Auker and Anna Pickle – and all our graduates who are making a difference each day as leaders in nursing across Texas and across the nation,” said Dr. Carol Andersen, director of the UT Tyler Palestine Campus nursing program.
