Patriot Spotlight: UT Tyler Director to Present at NACUBO Conference

Dr. Rosemary Cooper, director of enrollment services, will speak at the National Association of College and University Business Officers 2016 "Integrating Student Services: Transforming the Student Experience" Conference Oct. 23 – 25 in Knoxville, Tenn.

This year's conference will address topics such as strategy planning, how to identify trends and influence process improvements, managing combined enrollment services with other offices, cultivating professional development and expanding the One Stop service model by investing in student employment.

With more than 17 years of experience in higher education enrollment management, Cooper oversees all operations of UT Tyler's Enrollment Services Center, which assists students in the areas of admissions, financial aid, scholarships, student records, registration and cashiering services.

In addition, she also has presented nationally on the topics of shared services and employee engagement. Cooper is a member of the Academy of Human Resource Development and a member of AHRD's Leadership Special Interest Group. She also serves as an adjunct faculty member in the College of Business and Technology. Research interests include shared services, employee engagement, organizational leadership and strategic planning.

Cooper holds a bachelor of science in general studies, a master of public administration and a Ph.D. in human resource development, all from UT Tyler.
