University Academy Campuses Thank Healthcare Workers

Numerous University Academy scholars at the Tyler, Longview and Palestine campuses showed their appreciation to healthcare workers on the front lines of the pandemic by decorating face shields that were unable to be used as PPE. These decorated shields are now being distributed across East Texas by the Piney Woods Regional Advisory Council.

“This was a wonderful opportunity for our scholars to show their appreciation for the front-line pandemic healthcare workers.
