UT Tyler Chorus Open to Students and Community

The University of Texas at Tyler music program is inviting students and members of the Tyler area community to join the University-Community Chorus, Dr. Thomas Allen, Director of Choral Activities, has announced.

All interested singers should come Tuesday, Sept. 4 or Sept. 11 at 7 p.m. in the UT Tyler Cowan Center, room 2006.

"No audition is necessary and all materials are furnished. We especially need altos and low basses," Allen said.

Concerts for the 2001-02 season will be presented in the Cowan Center's Vaughn Auditorium at 3 p.m. on Dec. 2 and May 5. The fall 2001 concert will feature music for instruments and choir as well as music for the Holiday season. The spring 2002 concert will include works for choir and orchestra.
