Change Of Dates For UT Tyler’s ‘My Fair Lady’ Performance

The University of Texas at Tyler will present the popular musical “My Fair Lady” on March 31-April 1, and April 6-7 instead of the original dates planned, Dr. James A. Hatfield, director of theatre, has announced.

The musical, which is a collaboration between the UT Tyler Repertory Theatre Ensemble and the music program, was originally scheduled to play March 23-24, 25, 31 and April 1.

“The change of dates will allow less disruption for our company considering the Broadway Series performance of ‘Chicago’ on March 29 since both performances are in the Vaughn Auditorium. The new dates were reserved last year to accommodate such a change if necessary,” Hatfield said.

Repertory performance curtain times are 7:30 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and 2:30 p.m. for Sunday matinees.

Tickets for the musical are $15.00 general admission. Senior adult, students and group rates are available.
