Fischer and Lundberg-Love Appointed to UT Tyler ProfessorshipsThe University of Texas at Tyler has appointed Dr. Mary Fischer to the George W. and Robert S. Pirtle Professorship in Free Enterprise and Dr. Paula Lundberg-Love to the Dr. Ben R. Fisch Endowed Professorship.
The appointments recognize their contributions to the university.
Dr. Fischer, professor of accounting, serves as the director of the master of business administration program. A certified government financial manager, she regularly makes presentations at continuing education and nonprofit seminars.
She holds doctorate, master’s and undergraduate degrees from the University of Connecticut.
Dr. Lundberg-Love, associate professor of psychology, is a frequent presenter of workshops on behavior and abuse. The author of numerous articles, she teaches at the undergraduate and graduate levels in the areas which include psychopharmacology, behavioral intervention, health and behavior and psychology of dreams and sleep.
She holds doctorate and master’s degrees from the University of Cincinnati and a bachelor’s degree from Xavier University.
