UT Tyler Announces Alumni Association Membership Campaign

The University of Texas at Tyler Office of Alumni Relations is sponsoring a campaign to encourage membership in the UT Tyler Alumni Association.

The Alumni Association Membership Campaign is scheduled for Nov. 4-15. Gift basket drawings will be held each Friday of the campaign.

Those who join or renew membership during the first week will be eligible for a drawing on Nov. 8. Those who join or renew membership during the second week will be eligible for a drawing on Nov. 15. Everyone who purchases a Life Membership will receive a gift bag, in addition to being eligible for the general drawing.

Anyone is eligible to be an associate member of the Alumni Association.

“UT Tyler’s alumni and friends are the driving force behind our university. They are one of UT Tyler’s greatest assets,” Dana Khan, alumni coordinator, said. “The Alumni Association also allows members to keep in touch with UT Tyler and take pride in its past, present and future.”

In addition to raising funds for UT Tyler student scholarships, the Alumni Association is involved in various campus and community events. Future Alumni Association events include a UT Tyler ring ceremony on Dec. 5, a Senior Day Luncheon on April 17 to honor graduating seniors, Alumni Association Day at the Patriot Golf Classic Hole-In-One in May and a Distinguished Alumni Banquet in October 2003.
