UT Tyler Longview University Center Plans Career Fair

The University of Texas at Tyler Longview University Center will sponsor a career fair from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 13.

Longview area employers from the fields of nursing and health care, education, business, technology, engineering and public administration will participate. UT Tyler Longview University Center registration and admissions personnel also will be present. Refreshments and door prizes will be available.

“The LUC is pleased to host an event such as the career fair in an attempt to bring the business world and higher education together here in Longview,” said Dr. Jolene Lampton, director of the UT Tyler Longview University Center.

Participating businesses will include Greater Longview United Way, Longview, Pine Tree and Spring Hill independent school districts, Laird Memorial Hospital, Sabine Valley Center, Good Shepherd Medical Center, Trinity Mother Frances Hospital, Salomon Smith Barney, Southside Bank, Longview Bank and Trust, Huntsville Memorial Hospital, Texas Rehabilitation Commission, First State Bank Hallsville, Hospice Longview Inc., Longview Regional Medical Center, Willis-Knighton Health System, Longview Police Department and Christus St. Michael Health Systems of Texarkana.
