“Our summer soccer academy will give us the exciting opportunity and pleasure to get to know the youth soccer players in our area. We are going to have a blast with the players and coaching staff, while learning from each other and playing the game we love,” said Jodi Lovell, head coach of UT Tyler Patriot women’s soccer.
Cost of the academy $110 and includes camp T-shirt, certificate, awards and a written evaluation from the staff coach.
Participants will be divided into the groups based on age and ability.
“The academy provides youth players a unique opportunity to train with proven professional and collegiate coaches in a fun and safe environment. We’ll make sure everyone is challenged yet still comfortable,” added Kenny Jones, head coach of UT Tyler Patriot men’s soccer.
Students should bring sunscreen, water bottle, soccer shoes, shin guards, soccer ball and a snack.
