UT Tyler Nursing Students Participate in Flu ClinicNursing students at The University of Texas at Tyler Palestine Campus, in collaboration with the Texas Department of Health and the M & M Medical Clinic of Sanctuary House, will conduct flu clinics Nov. 12 and 13, Sharon Brindle, nursing senior lecturer, announced.
The nursing students will administer flu vaccines 9 – 11 a.m. and 12 – 2 p.m. on both days at the Sanctuary House, located at 919 South Magnolia in Palestine.
Cost is $7.
Medicare and Medicaid recipients are asked to present their cards and complete the appropriate Texas Department of Health forms to receive the vaccine at no charge.
