![]() UT Tyler Students to be Inducted Into Alpha Chi Honor SocietyNovember 4, 2004 Ninety-five students at The University of Texas at Tyler will be inducted into the Alpha Chi Scholastic Honor Society at 7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 8, in the University Center. The induction ceremony for the Alpha Xi chapter will include the presentation of outstanding faculty awards to: Dr. Paul Streufert, College of Arts and Sciences; Dr. Sheldon Dunham, College of Business and Technology; Bernadine Hansen, College of Education and Psychology; Dr. Stephen Rainwater, College of Engineering and Computer Science; and Melinda Hermanns, College of Nursing and Health Sciences. Alpha Chi is a coeducational society honoring university students for academic excellence. To be eligible for membership, students must be juniors or seniors with a minimum GPA of 3.5.
