UT Tyler Baseball to Hold Winter Clinic Series

The University of Texas at Tyler 2005 American Southwest Conference Champion baseball team will hold a winter clinic series Dec. 3 - 4 and Jan. 7.

Each clinic is $40 and will be instructed by UT Tyler head baseball coach James Vilade, UT Tyler assistant baseball coaches and UT Tyler baseball players.

Clinics 4 – 6 will host special guest Texas Rangers AA Hitting Coach Ronnie Ortegon of the Frisco Rough Riders.

The clinics are as follows:

  • Clinic 1: All-Skills

For ages 6 – 12, 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 3;

UT Tyler baseball field.

  • Clinic 2: All-Skills

For ages 13 – high school seniors, 2 – 5 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 3;

UT Tyler baseball field.

  • Clinic 3: Pitching and Catching

For ages 9 - high school seniors, 12 – 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 4;

UT Tyler baseball field.

  • Clinic 4: Hitting

For ages 9 – high school seniors, 4 – 7 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 4;

UT Tyler baseball field.

  • Clinic 5: Hitting

For ages 6 – 12, 9 a.m. – noon Saturday, Jan. 7;

UT Tyler Louise Herrington Patriot Center.

  • Clinic 6: Hitting

For ages 13 – high school senior, 1 – 4 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 7;

UT Tyler Louise Herrington Patriot Center.
