Eleven residents of Bullard were among 607 degree candidates recognized by The University of Texas at Tyler in spring commencement ceremonies May 6.
Bullard residents and their degrees are:
Marla Michelle Herring, B.A., health and kinesiology; Rebecca Anne Bruton, B.S., kinesiology; Holly Marie Edwards, B.A., journalism; Kristi Ann Taylor, B.A., English; Hollie Amanda Harper, B.S., biology; Miranda Hendrix and Sarah Elizabeth Ruesewald, B.S., political science; Justin K. Veach, B.S.M.E.; Brandi Michelle Jackson and Kristin Diane Roberson, B.S.N.; and Aubrey Daniel Ballard, B.S., history.
Commencement remarks were given by Dr. Michael Bell, UT Tyler alumni and president of the Baptist General Convention of Texas. President Rodney H. Mabry certified degree candidates. Presentation of degree candidates was by Dr. Richard Osburn, provost and vice president for academic affairs, and by the representatives of each of the university’s colleges.
