The University of Texas at Tyler Beta Gamma Sigma chapter, a business honor society in the College of Business and Technology, inducted 43 UT Tyler students April 23.
Dr. Marilyn Young, UT Tyler professor of management and president of BGS, performed the ritual, and Jim Tarter, dean of the UT Tyler College of Business and Technology, presented Bob Irwin and Robert Peltier as business honor guests.
UT Tyler senior inductees are: Brandi M. Black, Phyllis R. Collin, Miki S. Cornett, Jana E. Cruce, Jessica R. Dinkins, Desiani P. Enggina, Tamara L. Evans, Nicholas R. Fischer, John R. Goad, Gary H. Herrington, Elizabeth L. Hickey, Ashleigh L. Kennedy, Gloria I. Mejorado, Clint A. Parkhill, Donald L. Shafer, Callie F. Stanton, Jeffrey M. Summerlin, Trista N. Tucker, Robert T. Tyler and Ivan Valle.
UT Tyler junior inductees are: Kathryn B. Betancourt, Marcie A. Bradshaw, Matthew R. Godwin, Justin B. Hargrove, Christopher H. Hughes, Constance L. Lewis, Carrie L. Kinkade, Morgan D. LaGrone, E. Chad Maddux, Lori A. Pool, Thomas G. Rasco, Landing Sonko and Courtney Keene Sturgeon.
UT Tyler graduate inductees are: Bonnie Leigh Balfay, Talley S. Bergfeld, Duncan K. Furrh, Heather L. Hesser, Sherrie L. Hill, Thadd W. Hughes, Lacy E. Merritt, Karen J. Mooney, R. Catalina Rosales and David B. Youngblood.
Also inducted were Dr. Richard L. Osburn, UT Tyler provost and vice president for academic affairs, Dr. Bruce Runyan, UT Tyler assistant professor of accounting, and Dr. Jane Saber, UT Tyler assistant professor of marketing.
