Six Jacksonville residents were among 224 degree candidates recognized Aug. 11 at The University of Texas at Tyler summer commencement ceremony.
Jacksonville residents and their degrees were: Kelli Alyssa Rodriguez, M.Ed., special education; Alfredo P. Mondono, B.A., psychology; Carol Lynn Curry, B.S., psychology; Janes Matthew Hunt, B.S., health and kinesiology; and Ashley Marie Rooks and Maricela Zavala, B.S., interdisciplinary studies.
Commencement remarks were given by Dr. Rodney H. Mabry, UT Tyler President, who also certified degree candidates. Presentation of degree candidates were by Dr. Richard Osburn, provost and vice president for academic affairs; and by the deans of each of the university’s colleges.
