Ashley Gayle Ward of Quitman was among 224 degree candidates recognized Aug. 11 at The University of Texas at Tyler summer commencement ceremony.

Ward received am M.S. degree in human resource development.

Commencement remarks were given by Dr. Rodney H. Mabry, UT Tyler President, who also certified degree candidates. Presentation of degree candidates were by Dr. Richard Osburn, provost and vice president for academic affairs; and by the deans of each of the university’s colleges.
