Individual tickets for Classical Savion will go on sale Monday, Oct. 9, Susan Thomae-Morphew, director of The University of Texas at Tyler R. Don Cowan Fine and Performing Arts Center, announced.
The performance will take stage at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 2 at the UT Tyler Cowan Center.
The event is sponsored by Jack and Debra King.
Media sponsors include KETK 56 and Clear Channel Radio.
Tickets are $51, $41 and $31, and can be purchased at the UT Tyler Cowan Center box office. Box office hours are 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Tap king extraordinaire Savion Glover is a performer, choreographer and director known to most for the Tony Award-winning Broadway hit, Bring in ‘Da Noise, Bring in ‘Da Funk. Glover is also known for “Sesame Street,” “Free Style” and the award-winning Nike spots.
