The University of Texas at Tyler will hold “A Day in the Life of a College Student” event for selected eighth grade students from 9:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 24.

The event, as part of Community Service Day, will target students in the Tyler GEAR UP Program from Boulter, Dogan and Stewart Middle Schools.

Various UT Tyler organizations will show students what a day is like in the life of a college student by engaging them in different activities. 

Activities include breakout sessions, career exploration discussions and crafts.
