The University of Texas at Tyler’s College of Nursing and Health Sciences will hold a reception celebrating the approval of its first doctoral program 4 – 5 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 14, UT Tyler President Rodney H. Mabry, announced.       

The reception will be held in the foyer of the UT Tyler David G. and Jacqueline M. Braithwaite Building.

UT Tyler’s Ph.D. in nursing program was approved by the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board Oct. 25.
