HOMETOWN RELEASE: Van Zandt County Residents Recognized at UT Tyler Commencement

Nineteen Van Zandt County residents were among 651 degree candidates recognized by The University of Texas at Tyler in fall commencement ceremonies held Dec. 14 and 15.

Van Zandt County residents and their degrees are:

CANTON – Brian Scott Davis, M.B.A.; Stephanie Deibert, M.A.I.S., English; Emily Anne McDonald, B.A., Spanish; S. Grant Cooper, B.M.; and Summer Wilson and Timothy Wilson, B.S., nursing.

GRAND SALINE – Christopher Drew Jennings, B.S., computer information systems.

VAN – John Lloyd Raulston, M.A., political science; Pamela A. Neal, M.Ed., special education; Ashlie Ann Roberts-Cook, B.A., Spanish; Amanda Sue Crone, B.S., history; Wesley Andrew Wright, B.B.A., management; Darren Vaughn Bender, Marcus Anthony Evans, Danli McClanahan and Shaina Singh, B.A., psychology; and Nicole B. Clark, B.S., nursing.

WILLS POINT – Mary Nicole Ketner, B.S., distribution and logistics management; and Brandon D. Corbett and Landon R. Corbett, B.S., criminal justice.

President Rodney H. Mabry gave commencement remarks and certified the degree candidates. Presentations of degree candidates were made by the deans of each of the university’s colleges.
