UT Tyler Palestine Campus Students Named to TNSA Board of Directors

Two students at The University of Texas at Tyler Palestine Campus have been elected to serve on the Texas Nursing Student Association Board of Directors, Dr. Linda Klotz, UT Tyler College of Nursing and Health Sciences dean, announced.
Ellerson F. Pork of Gun Barrel City has been named president-elect. A Level 1 nursing student, Pork will serve a one-year term as president with TNSA, which is a student nursing association dedicated to promoting professionalism and leadership for today’s nursing students in Texas.
Level 1 nursing student Charles R. Dunnahoe of Wortham will serve a one-year term as vice-president.
They both were elected at this year's annual TNSA conference. It is the first time two students from the same university will serve in the top two state offices as well as the first time two male students have been elected to this honor.
TNSA is represented by approximately 3,000 student nurses from across the state preparing for initial licensure as registered nurses.
