UT Tyler Meadows Gallery to Feature Senior Art Exhibitions

Twelve graduating seniors at The University of Texas at Tyler will display their artwork in two upcoming exhibitions at the UT Tyler Meadows Gallery, Ray Sikes, Meadows Gallery coordinator, announced.
The first show, featuring ceramics, painting, printmaking and sculpture, will run March 28 through April 4. The second show, featuring ceramics, painting, printmaking and collage, will run April 11 through April 18. Receptions will take place at 6:30 p.m. at the gallery on opening days for both shows.
The Meadows Gallery is located in the R. Don Cowan Fine and Performing Arts Center. Gallery hours are 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, during regular semesters.

Seniors showing art pieces in the first show are: Teresa Moralez of San Antonio, Julie Herrara of Athens, Kristen Akin-Henton of Longview, Jason Tanner Young of Corsicana, Paula McDermott of Jacksonville and Lisa Schmaltz of Richardson.
Seniors showing work in the second show are: Susan Pickel of Liberty City, Jane Graham of Tyler, Robert Tobey of Tyler, Jessica Benner of Gladewater, Sherry Sweeden of Alba and Tang Po-Chun of Taiwan.
