HOMETOWN RELEASE: Artwork by Gladewater Resident to be Featured in UT Tyler Exhibition
Lakeshia Lilly of Gladewater is one of six seniors at The University of Texas at Tyler who will display artwork in thesis exhibition at the UT Tyler Meadows Gallery, Ray Sikes, Meadows Gallery coordinator, announced.
The exhibit, which features work by senior art students who are bachelor of fine art degree candidates this semester, will run Dec. 1 – 19. Gallery talks begin at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 2 and Thursday, Dec. 4, with a “Meet the Artists” reception to be held 6 – 7:30 p.m. Dec. 4.
Lilly enjoys both 2D and 3D art.
The Meadows Gallery is located in the UT Tyler R. Don Cowan Fine and Performing Arts Center. Gallery hours are 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, during regular semesters and by special appointment.
