The Graduate School at The University of Texas at Tyler will offer the Spring 2013 Graduate Student Workshop Series, Dr. Donna Dickerson, graduate school dean, announced.

Beginning Feb. 5, the workshops are designed to assist graduate students with their academic and professional success. These sessions combine theory and hands-on practice for developing graduate-level scholarly research, writing skills and presentation skills as well as GRE preparation, formatting a thesis or dissertation and loan consolidation.

Registration and other workshop-related information may be found online at the workshop series webpage.

“The feedback we received on the Fall 2012 workshop series was overwhelmingly positive, and one of the most frequent requests was to make the workshops available online for students who can’t attend in person. We will be using Tegrity to capture each of the workshops this spring and add those to our website for 24/7 access,” said Dr. Alecia Wolf, assistant dean of The Graduate School.
