The University of Texas at Tyler College of Business and Technology and Center for Retail Enterprises will hold the 2013 Retail Summit, Dr. Harold Doty, College of Business and Technology dean, announced.

The event will be 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 28 at the UT Tyler Ornelas Activity Center.

“Summit attendees will enjoy listening to guest speaker Shama Kabani discuss marketing through social media. Each attendee will receive a free copy of her best-selling book, ‘The Zen of Social Media Marketing,’” Doty said.

Cost is $25 per person and includes lunch.

The Center for Retail Enterprises is dedicated to providing East Texas retailers with continuing education and professional development. High quality faculty- and student-based consulting is available during the fall and spring semesters.
