The University of Texas at Tyler will feature the student exhibition “A Moment in Time” beginning Monday, Nov. 11 at the Fine Arts Complex Gallery, Ray Sikes, gallery coordinator, announced.

The public exhibition continues through Friday, Nov. 22 and showcases paintings, collages and ceramics created by UT Tyler bachelor of fine arts degree candidates.

Featured senior artists are Grace Clouse of Lindale, Jessica Sylvester of Palestine, Danielle Symonds of Whitehouse and Brandie Covington of Dallas.

A public opening reception and gallery talk will be 5 – 6:30 p.m. Nov. 11 at the gallery.

“The four of us are touching on very different concepts. We have each chosen a media in which we think we can articulate our ideas most clearly. Whether we are creating paintings, collages or ceramic pieces, we have all worked really hard to get to this point. We hope everyone can attend and see what we have been creating in our last semester,” Clouse said.

The gallery is located in the UT Tyler Fine Arts Complex. Gallery hours are 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
