The University of Texas at Tyler is among the most affordable institutions offering outstanding online programs in the state, Dr. Alisa White, provost and senior vice president for academic affairs, announced.
Affordable Colleges Online, an independent resource, analyzed online degree programs from more than 2,000 accredited colleges and universities across the nation. Specifically, AC Online focused on distance learning options from public and private nonprofit institutions with full accreditation.
UT Tyler is ranked in the top 20 among public Texas institutions listed, besting Texas Tech University, University of North Texas and Texas State University as well as three other UT System schools – UT El Paso, UT Dallas and UT Arlington.
