The University of Texas at Tyler is presenting an opportunity for one UT Tyler student to study for a semester at St. John International University in Italy, Dr. Teresa Kennedy, UT Tyler Office of International Programs executive director, announced.

Offered by St. John International, the scholarship is in the amount of $9,000. The student will need an additional $5,000 for room and board for the 16-week semester.

“This is a new campus housed in a beautiful locale, and most courses are offered in English,” said Dr. Martin Slann, UT Tyler College of Arts and Sciences dean.

To apply, visit the SJIU website.

“Study abroad students do not have to worry about the testing or 500 word statement portion of the application,” Kennedy added.
