The University of Texas at Tyler Meadows Gallery will feature the Studio Art Faculty Exhibition beginning Monday, Aug. 31, Ray Sikes, gallery coordinator, announced.

UT Tyler Tyler faculty presenting works in this exhibition are Merrie Wright, James R. Pace, Gary Hatcher, Alexis Serio, Dewane Hughes and Abhidyna Ghugh.

A public reception will be 6-7:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 3 at the gallery. The highlighted artists will give brief talks about their work.

“The exhibition, which is presented every two years, will give our students and the community the opportunity to view the work of our talented faculty – each of who are recognized as national and international artists,” Sikes said. “UT Tyler is very fortunate to have such a talented art faculty and staff.”

The exhibition will conclude Friday, Oct. 2.

The Meadows Gallery is located in the UT Tyler R. Don Cowan Fine and Performing Arts Center. Gallery hours are 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and by special appointment.
