UT Tyler Announces Leadership Series Event Featuring Lou Holtz

The University of Texas at Tyler College of Business and Technology will hold the 2016 Leadership Speaker Series featuring Lou Holtz, Dr. James Lumpkin, college dean, announced.

Part of the college's Leadership Institute programming, the event will be Friday, April 29 at the Green Acres Baptist Church Crosswalk. Doors open at 6 p.m., and dinner will be served. Holtz will present "Game Plan for Success."

Having established himself as one of the most successful college football coaches of all time, Holtz has served as a college football analyst on ESPN. In addition, he authored three New York Times best-selling books and produced three highly acclaimed motivational videos.

The UT Tyler Leadership Speaker Series is the first event held by the institute. Officials plan to make the series an annual event.

"The institute will bring nationally known leaders with expertise in various areas of business to campus and the community through the Leadership Speaker Series," said Brown.
