The University of Texas at Tyler will hold its third annual Impact Week for the university community Oct. 30 – Nov. 4, Ona Tolliver, assistant vice president and dean of students, announced.

Various Impact Week events will allow the UT Tyler community to learn more about issues such as hunger, homelessness, poverty and more.

"Hosted by the UT Tyler Office of Leadership and Service, Impact Week gives UT Tyler students, faculty and staff the chance to engage in activities and conversations about global issues through a local lens," said Chase Ragland, UT Tyler student development specialist who coordinates leadership and service events.

Among activities, two donation drives will be held benefitting the East Texas Food Bank and Church Under a Bridge in Tyler. For a complete schedule or additional information, visit uttyler.edu/community/impactweek.php.
