The University of Texas at Tyler Announces 2017 Advanced Placement Summer Institute

The University of Texas at Tyler will hold the 2017 Advanced Placement Summer Institute for middle and secondary school teachers July 10 – 13, Dr. Michael Odell, vice president for research and technology transfer and AP Institute director, announced.
Hosted by the Ingenuity Center, the 30-hour institute offers Pre-AP™ and AP™ certification training in various courses. Cost per participant is $525 by May 15, 2017 and $575 beginning May 16, 2017. Registration deadline is 11:59 p.m. Sunday, July 2.

Attendance at all sessions is mandatory to earn a certificate of completion.

Institute offerings include Pre-AP™ courses in Science, English, Math and Social Sciences and History; and AP™ courses in Biology, Calculus AB, Chemistry, English Literature and Composition, English Language and Composition, Environmental Science, Physics 1: Algebra Based, Psychology, Spanish Language and Culture, Statistics, U.S. History and World History.
