The University of Texas at Tyler to Hold Human Trafficking Awareness Discussion May 10

The University of Texas at Tyler will hold a human trafficking awareness discussion.

Sponsored by the university's Center for Ethics, the public event will be 6 p.m. Wednesday, May 10 at The University of Texas at Tyler Ornelas Activity Center, 3402 Old Omen Road in Tyler. Refreshments will be served at 5:30 p.m.

The discussion will address the epidemic of domestic teen sex trafficking in East Texas. The panel will include experts in the field of human trafficking along with representatives in law enforcement, legal and legislative fields, private and public education and health care.
