The University of Texas at Tyler has inducted 40 students in the prestigious honor society, Phi Kappa Phi, President Michael Tidwell announced.

Phi Kappa Phi is the nation's oldest and most selective multidisciplinary collegiate honor society and initiates more than 30,000 members a year on 300 campuses in the United States and the Philippines.

The top junior, senior and graduate University of Texas at Tyler students are invited to join Phi Kappa Phi.
