Stacey Sullivan, director of curriculum/communications at Henderson Independent School District, has been named Region 7 Principal of the Year from one of 20 regional Education Service Centers in the state.

Sullivan, who earned both an undergraduate degree as well as a master’s degree in education/curriculum and instruction from UT Tyler, was promoted from high school principal earlier this year.

The award will be presented to her at the upcoming Texas Association of Secondary Schools Principals’ meeting. She also will be recognized in a commemorative booklet titled Texas Principals, Texas Heroes.
