Dr. Robert Stevens, professor of education and curriculum and instruction department chair, recently completed two manuscripts with colleague Jared A. Fogel on the topic of the Great Depression.

The Great Depression: An Artist's View is written for 7-12 social studies methods courses, United States History courses and special topics courses which survey the Great Depression.

Crying out in Protest: The Formative Years of the Art of Seymour Fogel is a biography of Seymour Fogel. He was a noted Depression Era muralist who worked for the great Mexican muralist Diego Riveria.
