Dr. James Koukl, associate professor of biology, was an invited speaker at the third annual Box Turtle Workshop at the Patuxant Wildlife Research Center in Laurel, Maryland. He presented his research about adult, juvenile and hatchling box turtles.

Koukl holds a Ph.D. in comparative pathology from the University of Missouri School of Medicine.
