Dr. Mark R. Miller, professor of human resource development and technology, co-authored his third technical book for 2007. The book entitled, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration covers all aspects of today's cooling and climate control systems. It also offers step-by-step guidance to learning the air conditioning trade with more than 800 illustrations.
"The book was written for everyone no matter what your present level of skill," said Miller. "Air conditioning students at community colleges, practitioners in the field and even homeowners can follow this book to learn how to select, install, maintain, repair and troubleshoot AC and refrigeration systems."
Miller has co-authored two other books this year that cover licensing study guides for HVAC and welding. These books cover the main topics that are included on licensing exams and provide sample questions and answers so examinees are prepared and have the confidence to take and pass these exams. He is the author and co-author of more than 30 textbooks for trade and industrial programs and has developed technical curricula for high schools, technical schools and colleges for more than 20 years.
