Dr. Robert Sterken, associate professor of political science, led a Great Decisions discussion held at the Tyler Public Library.

He presented "Iraq End Game" on March 5. Each meeting addressed an important and current foreign policy and featured experts on the topic to lead discussions, which were part of a national effort started more than 50 years ago by the Foreign Policy Association.

Sterken holds a Ph.D. in political science from Texas Tech University.
The series of eight foreign policy discussions began Jan. 16 and continued each consecutive Wednesday through March 5.
Local sponsors for the 2008 series were the American Association of University Women - Tyler Branch, the League of Women Voters of Tyler/Smith County and the Tyler Public Library.
