Dr. Marcus Stadelmann, political science department chair and associate professor of political science, led a Great Decisions discussion held at the Tyler Public Library.
At the second in a series of eight foreign policy discussions, Stadelmann presented "European Union at 50." He examined the European integration, its changing demographics as well as the impact of new memberships within the integration.
Stadelmann holds a Ph.D. from the University of California-Riverside.
At UT Tyler, he received the Alpha Chi Outstanding Faculty Award for the 2002-03 academic year. He also was nominated for the Chancellors Council Teaching Award and the UT Tyler Piper Foundation Teaching Award in 2000.
