Dr. Katherine Pang, assistant professor of criminal justice, was recently published in The International Journal of Learning. Her article titled "Sophist or Socratic Teaching Methods in Fostering Learning in U.S. Graduate Education" provides an overview of some of the characteristics in both the Socratic and Sophist traditions within graduate education in the United States.

Dr. Pang has spoken at various conferences around the world on e-Learning, cogitative learning, instructional design and technology as well as many law and business-related topics. She holds a Ph.D. in educational psychology from Texas A&M - Commerce as well as two law degrees, an MBA and a master in educational technology.
