My clinical expertise is in the care of patients with Diabetes. I also am very involved in the use of Motivational Interviewing in helping individuals make lifestyle changes.
My approach to teaching incorporates my 24 years experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner. I feel very strongly about the skills and ability to make critical decisions that all NPs must posses. I incorporate my experience, the use of case studies, and my knowledge of critical areas that all NPs must master into my presentations and lectures.
