Teaching Philosophy: I have been a Registered Nurse for many years and believe that nursing is one of the most rewarding professions a person can practice. I began teaching in 2005, and I find that career stimulating and gratifying as well. When one teaches nursing, she does not only touch the lives of a few patients; she can affect the lives of patients cared for by her students in their careers.

I believe that students need clearly taught information and encouragement to succeed in the nursing program, and that instructors can make a profound difference in their lives. I strive to make that difference with my students.
