Biography

Teaching area: nursing theory, philosophy of science, scholarship and publication

Research area: intergenerational issues in nursing; geriatric women's health promotion; health literacy in minority populations

My teaching philosophy is also my life philosophy - people live up to or down to our expectations. I always expect the best from my students and am rarely disappointed. I respect the privilege of sharing their journey toward knowledge and always receive more than I am able to give.
